Refund & cancellation policy
How deposits, cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds work for Toolkit Maple consulting engagements.

This policy applies to consulting engagements with Toolkit Maple: documentation system audits, knowledge base architecture work, developer guide writing support, and documentation workshops. This site does not sell physical products or software subscriptions.
Eligibility
Refunds apply to fees paid directly to Toolkit Maple under a written estimate or statement of work. Informational pages and unpaid inquiries are not purchases.
Timeframe
- Discovery calls booked without a fee: cancel or reschedule anytime by email.
- Paid workshops: full refund if cancelled in writing at least 7 days before the session; 50% refund between 6 and 3 days before; no refund within 72 hours except as noted below.
- Fixed project deposits: refundable minus a TWD 6,000 administration fee if cancelled before work starts; after kickoff, deposits are applied to work performed.
Full or partial refunds
Partial refunds may be issued when an engagement is stopped early by mutual agreement, based on hours or milestones completed. If Toolkit Maple cancels a workshop or project start for our own reasons, you may choose a full refund or a rescheduled date.
Non-refundable items
- Work already delivered and accepted (audit reports, architecture documents, completed writing packs)
- Third-party costs we incur at your written request (for example venue hire you asked us to arrange)
- No-shows for scheduled workshops without 72 hours’ notice
Process & timing
Email info@toolkitmaple.click with “Refund request,” your invoice reference, and reason. We confirm within 5 business days and process approved refunds within 14 business days to the original payment method where possible.
Rescheduling
Workshops and working sessions may be rescheduled once without penalty with at least 5 days’ notice, subject to consultant availability.
Deposits & work already started
Starting inventory, interviews, or drafting constitutes work started. Fees for completed portions remain due; unused prepaid writing days may be credited toward a future pack within 6 months.
