We are a Taipei consulting practice that helps engineering organisations make developer documentation findable, maintainable, and owned.
Origin
Toolkit Maple started when several engineers in Taipei grew tired of rebuilding the same onboarding FAQ after every product launch. The practice grew from freelance documentation audits into a small consulting studio focused on developer documentation systems and knowledge base structuring.
We work with product engineering teams, platform groups, and documentation leads who need structure more than another writing tool.
Mission
Help teams replace tribal knowledge with written paths that new hires and partner engineers can follow without pinging the same three people.
Approach
We read before we rearrange. Engagements begin with your actual pages, pull-request comment patterns, and support transcripts — not a generic maturity quiz. Recommendations stay concrete: which section moves, who owns it, and what a monthly review looks like.
People
Consultants combine engineering background with editorial practice. We are comfortable in repositories, wikis, and conference rooms alike. When Traditional Chinese and English documentation coexist, we plan for both languages rather than treating translation as an afterthought.

Location
